About Bakhuys Amsterdam

Bakhuys Amsterdam is een plek in de stad waar dit familiebedrijf authentiek brood bakt in een houtgestookte stenen oven. Met een traditie van vijf generaties lang sinds 1926. Hier bij Bakhuys vind je een ruime keuze aan producten van hoge kwaliteit. Eerlijk en met liefde gemaakt. Wij maken ons brood op basis van een eigen gecultiveerde desemcultuur. Puur natuur. Met bloem, water en zout zonder extra toevoegingen. Elk croissantje en elk brood bevat de beste ingrediënten volgens oeroude recepten. Smaak is het allerbelangrijkste wat er is. Daarop doen we geen consessies. Wat is het geheim van de bijzondere smaak achter ons brood? Langzame fermentatie. Met een rijsproces van minimaal 24 en vaak 48 uur. En bakken op een stenen oven vloer.
